THE PROJECT
The goal of this project was to create an entirely new brand identity for one of Flowers Foods' smaller bread brands, European Bakers. The brand sought a refreshed logo and packaging that spoke more to the brand's European influence and gave off a sense of luxury.
LOGO DEVELOPMENT
The purpose of this redesign was to create a logo that felt distinctly more European (keyword: "French Countryside"), and more representative of the product the brand produces. Designing this logo was a very iterative process - many key elements were present from the start, it was just a matter of creating and arranging the right pieces. The final logo was then used as a reference point to create brand guidelines and packaging.
SETTING GUIDELINES
The new logo represented a repositioning of the brand as a whole. A new style guide was created to set the guidelines that should be used when working with the brand to maintain consistent usage of the new identity.
CREATING PACKAGING
The logo and style guide heavily informed how the packaging would be executed. The goal was to keep it simple and upscale, and to allow much of the product to be seen.
